Let me introduce you to
my friend James:
James is a hard-working, New
Orleans - (Katrina Survivor) who
works full-time for a 9th Ward
manufacturing company.  He is
an honest man, "trying to make
an honest living and do the right
thing" according to James.
Here's the reality of James's Life
right now:

Take Home Pay per week
                        $300
Bills and Rent  $120
Sub Total         $180
GAS                   $80
Prescriptions      $35
Left over          $65
This Past summer, James had to make the decision to forgo attending the Jazz Festival
because he wouldn't have had enough money for GAS the next week.  James, and others
(including myself) shared  how the cost of GAS has severely impacted our quality of life.
In James case, if GAS was $1.25 per gallon, he would be spending $40 less per week.
That would take his weekly "Left over" money from $65 to $105.  That is a 62% increase.

This is AMERICA and this is WRONG.  Millions of people are making quality of Life
decisions based on how much they are paying for GAS.  This Campaign of ours is
all about James and all the other millions of James' around our great Country.

The President has the authority to fix this and as your President, it will be my #1
Priority.  We won't quit utilizing all the power of the Office of President until we
get the 20 year agreement on $1.25/gallon.
